Academy Overview & Objectives
- Academy provides structured learning on LMN to help you and your company implement and understand the software.
- Academy content is sorted into Learning plans, which are courses grouped by topic.
- Each course contains training material, which is sorted into lessons. There may be several lessons in a single course. Most of these are videos, but they may also include quizzes or assignments.
- Many courses have a "Learn it" video which explains a concept before a walkthrough of how it looks in LMN.
Access Academy
- Simply login to your LMN account and click on Help & Resources > LMN Academy
- This will direct you to the Academy Online (https://academy.golmn.com/learn/signin) where you can click on the SIGN IN WITH LMN.
| 💡Once you have done this, every time you click on the LMN Academy button within LMN, it will automatically log you into the Academy Online. |
| ⚠️ Note: the Academy Online has a 3-hour timeout, if you are logged in for longer, you will need to reenter your username and password to continue training. |
New to LMN?
Starting with the Onboarding Learning Plan gives users the foundation they need before diving into more advanced topics. It walks you through core setup and workflows in a logical, step‑by‑step order—things like account settings, users, and key features—so LMN is configured correctly from the start and matches the “LMN Way” best practices that other Academy content builds on.
- On the Academy Homepage, click the START HERE! button next to New to LMN?
- Click PLAY next to each Course in the Learning Plan on the Onboarding to LMN page.
This will help you build out your account, learn the software and work with your onboarding specialist!
Homescreen / Dashboard
The Homescreen / Dashboard in Granum Academy is the recommended starting point for users, bringing together step-by-step, on-demand lessons that walk you through LMN’s core features and workflows—from initial setup and budgeting through scheduling, invoicing, and QuickBooks sync. It centralizes our virtual software training so you and your team can follow structured learning paths, revisit key topics like QuickBooks Online/Desktop or the Crew App, and build confidence in LMN at your own pace.

Course / Lesson Types
| Learn It videos | Concept-focused lessons that explain the “why” behind a feature or concept, plus best practices and examples—meant to build understanding, not just clicks. |
| How‑Tos | Step‑by‑step instructions for completing a single task (e.g., “Add a new user,” “Create an invoice”), focused on the exact buttons and fields to use. |
| Overviews | Short, high‑level introductions that show what a feature does, who it’s for, and when to use it—without diving into every step or setting. |
| Walkthroughs | Guided tours that take you through a screen or process from start to finish, combining explanation with an on‑screen demo of each major step. |
| Workflows | End‑to‑end process guides that connect multiple features (for example: lead → estimate → job → schedule → invoice) so users can see how the pieces fit together in real life. |
| Webinars / recorded trainings | Longer, instructor‑led sessions (usually 30–90 minutes) that go deeper into a topic, often including scenarios, tips, and Q&A, recorded so users can watch on demand. |

- From the Granum Academy homepage, click on a Learning Path
- Click PLAY next to any Course from this Learning Path

Back on the Learning Plan page, your Course progress will be displayed next to each course, showing:
- If the Course is: Not Started, In-Progress, or Completed
- How many lessons have been completed
- A button to either: PLAY, RESUME, or RETAKE
Complete a Learning Plan
✅ Take all of the required courses within that Learning Plan
✅ Earn badges and points once a Learning Plan is completed
Badges & Points
The LMN Academy was created to motivate all users to complete Learning Plans and Courses with the feature of gamification. If a user completes all Courses within a Learning Plan then they will receive a badge and points. The goal is to complete all Learning Plans so that all badges are collected. Badges and Points can be found on any page of the Granum Academy in the top right corner:
Dropdown Menu Options
On the Academy Home Page, click the 3 horizontal lines in the top left corner of the page to drop open a menu. Explore the menu and read about each menu item in the table below.

| My Activities | The My Activity page gives you a personalized snapshot of where you’ve been in the system, listing your most recent pages and actions so you can quickly retrace your steps and jump back into in-progress work without hunting through menus. It’s a handy shortcut for resuming proposals, training, or setup tasks right where you left off, helping you stay organized and save time as you learn and use the platform. |
| LMN Pay | The LMN Pay page provides a quick and easy way for landscapers to enable credit card payments on the LMN platform. Training on how to implement LMN Pay with your account can be found throughout different Academy Learning Plans, so we've put all LMN Pay training materials in one spot here. |
| Live Virtual Training Sessions & Webinars | The Live Virtual Training Sessions page, the LMN Software Training Webinars page and the Free Webinars page is your hub for registering for free, instructor‑led LMN webinars on core topics like budgeting, CRM, job creation, scheduling, invoicing, snow and QuickBooks. From these pages, you can see the schedule, pick the sessions you need, and sign up to join live or receive the recording afterward so you can watch on your own time. |
| Course Catalog | The Course Catalog page is the central library of LMN/Granum Academy training, bringing together all learning plans and bite‑sized courses in one place so users can easily browse by topic, feature, or role and launch the lessons they need on demand. |

The Onboarding page bundles the essential learning plans and courses recommended for new accounts, guiding you step‑by‑step through core setup tasks like account settings, users, budget, price list, CRM, jobs, schedule, invoicing, and QuickBooks. It’s designed to follow the LMN Way best‑practice workflow so your system is configured correctly and your team can start using LMN confidently from day one. Granum Academy Mobile App
Access the Granum Academy App with Easy-to-use QR Code
- On your desktop in the Granum Academy, click the three horizontal lines in the top left corner of your screen.
- Click on the Edit icon (pencil icon) at the top of the User Menu
- From the menu, click App QR code and follow the instructions. If you are having trouble, you can manually sign in using the instructions in the next section (below).

Sign-in
- Enter the platform URL as academy.golmn.com and tap the “proceed to login page” button
- Login using your LMN username and password
- Tap on the black bar to sign-in
Mobile App Dashboard & Learning Plans
- Login to the LMN Academy mobile App
- Scroll down and tap on a Learning Plan to start your LMN software training
Mobile App Courses
- Login to the LMN Academy mobile App
- Tap on a Learning Plan
- Tap on a course to start your LMN software training
- Tap on the first video to start your first training item within that course
| ⚠️ Note: If a course has a lock icon beside it, then that means you must complete the previous training material |
Academy Login Troubleshooting
☑ Ensure you use the correct Username (this may or MAY NOT be your email address) and Password
☑ Login with the Sign in with LMN button.
☑ New users that just created their accounts will need to allow 24 hours for the Academy to fully register the account and gain access to the Academy.
☑ Check with your Security Admin that you are added as an Office Staff / Crew Lead User, and that your "Add and Edit Timesheets" setting in your User Permissions is set to Admin.
☑ Crew Member users will not have access to the Academy training videos as they would not need to look into the Academy for invoicing, budgeting and estimating etc training videos.
