Release Notes: November 2024 LMN Update

Release Highlights

In this latest release, LMN continues to focus on two key themes that matter most to our contractors: Efficiency and Operational Visibility. We've developed new features to simplify workflows, improve access to crucial data, and ensure smoother collaboration across teams. 

From enhancing how you manage proposals, to easily accessing all job-related information when reviewing estimates and viewing a customer’s invoicing history directly from the CRM, this release delivers meaningful improvements that will help your business run more smoothly, save time, and provide better service to your customers.

Streamlined Proposal Management

As a contractor juggling multiple stakeholders, providing clear and customizable proposals is key to securing business. This update enhances the proposal process by enabling you to send a single proposal to multiple recipients and customize the emails you send with each proposal. Additionally, you can now CC or BCC internal team members, improving collaboration without having to manually forward important documents.

What's New:

  • Multiple Recipient Support: Send a single proposal to multiple recipients, ensuring all stakeholders are in the loop. Easily include an additional recipient by selecting an individual Contact from the dropdown list, or by manually typing in an email address.
  • Customizable Email Templates: Tailor your proposal emails by editing both the subject line and body, for more personalized communication.
  • CC/BCC Functionality: Add CC and BCC recipients to your proposal emails to ensure team members, such as accounting or operations, are automatically informed.
  • Preview & Attachments: Easily preview your email and attach a PDF version of the proposal directly to the email, ensuring customers can review the document in their preferred format.

Multi-Location Reporting

For large LMN customers managing multiple locations, this update introduces new multi-location reporting capabilities, providing insights at both the corporate and individual location level. This ensures enterprise executives and location managers can view the data most relevant to their roles, helping to identify successes and areas for improvement.

What's New:

  • Location-Level Dashboards: View detailed location-level reports to analyze performance, sales, and other key metrics.
  • Multi-Location Data Visibility: Corporate executives can view consolidated data across all branches, while individual branch managers have access to data relevant only to their assigned branches.
  • Data Security: Ensure only authorized users can access branch or corporate data, with secure permissions for accessing branch-level and multi-branch insights.

Enhanced Analytics

Performance Dashboards 

Use performance dashboards as a way to understand how well your teams are doing collectively, as well as at the individual staff level. Display in your break room or the main office to bring awareness and transparency, as well as help estimators, salespeople and other staff see how they’re performing.

  • Estimator Performance: Track how accurate and profitable estimates are over time. View insights on estimator efficiency, estimate accuracy, and conversion rates, letting you easily see what’s working and where to improve, helping your team create better estimates that win more jobs and drive profitability.
  • Salesperson Performance: Get a clear view of your sales team's progress, showing metrics like estimates sold, revenue, and win rates. With this dashboard, you can identify top performers, spot sales trends, and refine strategies to boost sales, helping your team achieve their sales goals and grow the business.

Linked Job Feature for Estimates

Contractors need easy access to all job-related information when reviewing estimates. This update introduces a direct link between estimates and the jobs associated with them, reducing the need to navigate multiple tabs and streamlining your workflow.

What's New:

  • View Linked Jobs: If a job is linked to an estimate, you can now view the job directly from the estimate screen, eliminating the need to switch between tabs or windows.
  • Job Creation Enhancements: When a job has been linked, the "Create Job" button changes to "View Job," giving you quick access to the related job details.

Invoices Tab in CRM Customer View

A frequent request from contractors has been the ability to view a customer’s invoicing history directly from the CRM. This update adds an "Invoices" tab to the CRM’s Customer view, allowing for quicker access to important billing information without leaving the Customer page.

What's New:

  • Invoices Tab: View all invoices associated with a customer directly from the CRM, along with their status (paid, overdue, etc.).
