Stripe Users: Commonly Asked Questions

What happens to my previous merchant account in LMN?

  • Once you have completed your Stripe application, LMN will remove your previous merchant ID from LMN and replace it with Stripe. ⚠️ Any saved cards in LMN will be removed with this step.

  • You will still have access to your Payrix and/or Cardpointe Portal outside of LMN to process any refunds and view reports for 120 days. After 120 days, we will process your previous merchant account cancellation.

 

What if I already have a Stripe account elsewhere?

  • You will need to apply for a new Stripe account in LMN as our Stripe integration is specific to LMN only. Your LMN Stripe merchant account will not be accessible through an external Stripe Dashboard or Stripe App. All transaction and payout information will be available directly in LMN

  • To add payment methods on file in the CRM, take advantage of the bulk Request Payment Method email option available right in your CRM Contacts page. This option is easy, and customizable!

 

How can I handle a chargeback or dispute with Stripe?

You will be notified of any disputes/chargebacks by email. You can view all dispute information and submit evidence directly in LMN under Payments→ Dispute Tab

 

How do I cancel my LMN Pay Powered by Stripe Account? 

There is no need for a Seasonal Hold / Deactivation with LMN Pay Powered by Stripe, as you are only charged per transaction, with no Monthly Fee. 

If you need to cancel your Stripe Account at any time, please have the Owner or Representative on file email lmn-support@granum.com with the Subject Line: "Stripe Account Cancellation". 
⚠️ We will not process any cancellations unless the request comes from the Owner/Representative on your Stripe Account
